Eddy Current Testing

The technique works generating eddy current in the material to be tested and the analyzing the change in the impedance of the eddy current due to discontinuities in the material.
Eddy current is generated and detected using two oppositely wounded coils in Absolute and Differential Mode.
Inspect Non-Ferrous tubes such as SS, Ti, Cu-Ni, Admiralty, Brass. etc.
ID and OD defects can be differentiated.
Defects under baffle can be detected.
Highly sensitive to small cracks and pit like defects.
Thorough cleaning is required as 85% Fill factor probe is used.
Pulling is speed is high as compared to RFET.
